What to do in Milan for first timers

6) The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie where you’ll find Leonardo Da Vinci’s world- famous fresco “The Last Supper” from the 15th century. This is something you don’t want to miss.
7) Castello Sforzesco located in Piazza Castello only 15 minutes walk from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. In the Castello there are 8 museum and the fee for those are €10 or you can walk around the ground for free, worth a visit.
8) Next door to Castello Sforzesco there is Parco Sempione and inside the park you can visit the 108 meters high Branca tower named after the digestive liquor Fernet Branca, the tower has incredible views over Milan entry fee €5.
9) Visit the Navigli district, (Navigli in italian Canal) filled with great bars and restaurants, a fantastic place to spend the evening.
Other places you want to consider visiting, depending on the time you’ll have in Milan are Cimitero Monumentale, Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, Pinacoteca di Brera.
Shopping in Milan
If you have money to spare go to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, La Rinascente or Via Montenapoleone also known as the Quadrilatero d’Oro, filed with plenty of designer shops like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Armani and independent family shops. For more affordable shopping in Milan go to Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Torino or Corso Di Porta Ticinese.
How to get to Milan
Depending on your travel arrangements you can easily get to Milan via the 3 major airport Malpensa, Linate or Orio al Serio Bergamo, from here you can get a bus or a train connection to Milano Centrale.
